“Rookie Best Nine” divided by MLB official website!
“MLB Pipeline”, which mainly deals with information on prospects (young promising stocks) on the major league official website, has announced the “Rookie Best Nine” for the 2022 season. Even if you look at the history of the major leagues, the success of rookies has been conspicuous this season. The 1st and 2nd teams were selected for the “Rookie Best Nine”, and Seiya Suzuki (Cubs) was named in the outfielder division of the 2nd team.
In the comprehensive index WAR calculated by the data site “Fungraphs”, this season’s rookie fielders recorded a total of 54.9. That was the second-highest score in major league history since 1900, behind the 75.1 in 2015, when the likes of Chris Bryant, Francisco Lindor and Carlos Correa all played well. Rookie pitchers also recorded a total of 46.4. This was the 18th highest number ever.
